Our Values and Social Responsibility in Africa

Values

In Aggreko, we believe that people and expertise are key in delivering excellent customer service and performance. Aggreko has over 45 years of experience and the senior management team of Africa have over 50 years experience working in the power rental business.

Corporate Social Responsibility in Africa

Aggreko works with various African charities and has an active corporate social responsibility program in the region.

To promote literacy and learning in Africa, Aggreko continually partners with Book Aid International. This initiative helps fund over 23,000 books each year. The books get distributed in seven countries including Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Uganda.

The NGO - Hope Clinic Lukuli in Uganda provides free community healthcare. Aggreko contributed  donations to the Hope Clinic Lukuli has helped enable the clinic to provide free consultations with particular emphasis to AIDS testing.

Aggreko started a Turtle program in Kenya through which funding for the education of ten students is provided. In the long term Aggreko would offer these students option to work with us after they graduate. On another note Aggreko also donated flat panel HP computers to the National Library in Kenya.
